“The guy who did it was very nice polite and professional, knew what he was doing. He was fast and efficient. Had what he needed to do the job on hand. He finished his measurements and filled out a report and explained to me what he saw as well as told me what and if anything was necessary to keep the structure safe as well as options. While explaining the options he was thorough and even said how much would be needed so on and so forth. I was pleased with him and even though I don't have lots of situations to hire a structural engineer if I need another I would definitely call this guy or company again. It was worth my money I feel. Plus there's a lot more areas the company can be used besides my structural inspection. Even if I need to change walls or edit my floor plan in anyway they do that as well and that situation I would not hesitate calling him. Prices are average a little better than most but there is definitely quality to add to this company which makes the price a steal.”

“I had Schroeder come to inspect the basement on an old house I’m in the process of purchasing. It was a great experience. The engineer was very thorough and extremely nice. When he was done he gave me a one on one verbal summary of the highlights of his findings, and his concerns. And while he was, to me at least, clearly quite knowledgeable, he used plain language that I could understand, while still managing to clearly convey the information. He was very patient and took the time to answer all of my 100 questions (it’s a very old house, so I had LOTs of questions) while following me around to a few spots that I had concerns about. I would definitely hire Schroeder again, and I would most definitely ask for Derek if I did. Within about 3 hours of the end of the inspection I had the report in my email.
